A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Pepito F.C.'s Dênis Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel de Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dênis Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Macieira's zone, Dênis Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel de Toledo came out of the goal and Dênis Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 minutes of play, Pepito F.C.'s Frank Ramos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel de Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Pepito F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcus de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustão Machado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Paes in the 62nd minute of play forced Macieira's goalkeeper Michel de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepito F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dênis Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Macieira's Serginho Travassos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Dênis Paes struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Michel de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
