After 6 played minutes Tricolor Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Derviş Keskin. Luiz Fernando Rosa came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Tricolor Futebol Clube's Erik Marquez. But to his dismay, Erik Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Nascimento getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Róbson do Valle hit a great ball. Erik Marquez didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 27th minute. Tricolor Futebol Clube's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 31 minutes into the game, Tostão Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Luiz Fernando Rosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 34 minutes, Tiago Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nascimento and the Tricolor Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nascimento's Tiago Vides got a free kick in the 34th minute. With an all-out effort, Tricolor Futebol Clube's Luiz Fernando Rosa threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tostão Nascimento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Jesus Evis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Marquez made a kick off. A collision led to Nascimento getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Clóvis Couto hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Tostão Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Clóvis Couto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Nascimento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Couto couldn't finish the play. Arlindo Quadros had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Kauan Loyola's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Derviş Keskin's late challenge caught a Nascimento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derviş Keskin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tricolor Futebol Clube's Derviş Keskin got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Erik Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nascimento's Luiz Fernando Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erik Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Luiz Fernando Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes Tricolor Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Michael Laudrup. In the 88th minute, Erik Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tricolor Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Erik Marquez scored 6-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fernando Rosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Tricolor Futebol Clube booed when Nascimento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 101stth minute of the game Erik Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nascimento's Luiz Fernando Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tricolor Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nascimento had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
