Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vitinho Pernambucano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vitinho Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Jonas Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Demons. Virgílio Lira came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonas Loureiro could save by the left post. With a little luck, Maceió AZP Crabs's Jonas Loureiro got control of the ball when Virgílio Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vitinho Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jonas Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Maceió AZP Crabs's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Pernambucano came free, but Jonas Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cássio Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Maceió AZP Crabs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Baptista couldn't finish the play. Paulo Renato Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Pernambucano in the 33rd minute of play forced Maceió AZP Crabs's goalkeeper Jonas Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Virgílio Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, The Demons's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Baptista came free, but Tarcisio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, The Demons's Virgílio Lira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Virgílio Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Loureiro having to interfere. Augusto de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonas Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Virgílio Lira sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The Demons's Virgílio Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vitinho Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Lira in the 58th minute of play forced Maceió AZP Crabs's goalkeeper Jonas Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, The Demons's Vitinho Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 66th minute Virgílio Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Lira in the 68th minute of the match. Jonas Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Lira in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Pernambucano in the 73rd minute of play forced Maceió AZP Crabs's goalkeeper Jonas Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was beautiful to see Maceió AZP Crabs's Natã Simão in action when he in the 77th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Vitinho Pernambucano took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Loureiro. Jonas Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Vitinho Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of The Demons booed when Maceió AZP Crabs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Tarcisio Montenegro made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maceió AZP Crabs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Demons.
