Oséas Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliézer Rossi went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Interiorano Só Futebol's zone, Michel de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Bueno came out of the goal and Michel de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliézer Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Bueno having to interfere. Gil Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Pernambucano in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Pernambucano in the 26th minute of play forced Salinas Náutico Clube's goalkeeper Gil Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Salinas Náutico Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Pernambucano came free, but Gil Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, José Carlos Paranaense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Interiorano Só Futebol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Salinas Náutico Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Pernambucano came free, but Gil Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Salinas Náutico Clube got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Torres. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel de Sousa was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Interiorano Só Futebol defense, Eliézer Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oséas Bueno. The Interiorano Só Futebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséas Bueno should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute, Eliézer Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salinas Náutico Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 61 played minutes Interiorano Só Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Couto. After 64 minutes, Michel de Sousa made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Interiorano Só Futebol's Oséas Bueno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eliézer Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Salinas Náutico Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Rossi couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Diamantino Santos had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 73 minutes, Leopoldo Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Interiorano Só Futebol and the Salinas Náutico Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Interiorano Só Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Cearense to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Interiorano Só Futebol getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ademar Cavalcante hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes, Salinas Náutico Clube's Eliézer Rossi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oséas Bueno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salinas Náutico Clube reached it. Oséas Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Michel de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Salinas Náutico Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Godoi to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes, Interiorano Só Futebol's Marcinho Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Rocha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Interiorano Só Futebol reached it. Gil Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fábio Pernambucano in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Salinas Náutico Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
