Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Betão Vale fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mamonas Assassinas's protests and gave Betão Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Betão Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Danilo Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Mamonas Assassinas's goalkeeper Maicon Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel de Sousa. Toninho Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Mamonas Assassinas got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Guimarães. Juan Senna, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Danilo Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maicon Branco was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Michel de Sousa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michel de Sousa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 29 played minutes Mamonas Assassinas got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Guimarães. José Maria França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Rocha having to interfere. Gil Rocha came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Mamonas Assassinas's José Maria França. But to his dismay, José Maria França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Michel de Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Maicon Branco. Mamonas Assassinas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Mamonas Assassinas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Danilo Paraibano scored to the left of an out of position Maicon Branco, making the score, 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Maria França to strike the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Santos's late challenge caught a Mamonas Assassinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Santos helped the player get up and apologised. Danilo Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maicon Branco having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Mamonas Assassinas's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Paraibano came free, but Maicon Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José Maria França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maicon Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Juan Senna missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 78 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Maicon Branco right hand side. Maicon Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel de Sousa went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the game, Salinas Náutico Clube's Danilo Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maicon Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Maicon Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Paranaense in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Salinas Náutico Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
