Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wilson de Salles took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luisinho Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Juninho Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes, Silvinho Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ases Indomáveis and the Ilha de Corsega FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Ases Indomáveis got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Domingues. After having played for 8 minutes, Wilson de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilha de Corsega FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Gustavo Leão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilha de Corsega FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Ases Indomáveis's goalkeeper Dráusio Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisinho Brito. The audience was convinced that Wilson de Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Leite was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Hortêncio Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Travassos in the 31st minute of the match. When Ases Indomáveis's Juninho Travassos in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilha de Corsega FC's goalie prevented a goal. Elivélton Vieira hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Ilha de Corsega FC's Luisinho Brito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. If Luisinho Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Ilha de Corsega FC's José Maria Lopez got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Juninho Travassoss short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Hortêncio Zonta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Túlio Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hortêncio Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Wilson de Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilha de Corsega FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Hortêncio Zonta came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ases Indomáveis's Juninho Travassos. But to his dismay, Juninho Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Ases Indomáveis's Dráusio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson de Salles in the 76th minute of play. Dráusio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson de Salles in the 81st minute of play. If Juninho Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hortêncio Zonta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Travassos went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Túlio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Zonta having to interfere. Wilson de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ilha de Corsega FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
