Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Amauri de Queiroz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Amauri de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes Torneiros EC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro de Castro. After 5 played minutes, Taperoa's Ademir Sampaio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diogo Silveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taperoa reached it. Arthur Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taperoa's goalkeeper Válter Meira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Henrique Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes Taperoa got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Correia. If Donato Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diogo Silveira having to make a save. Donato Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Torneiros EC's Donato Macedo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taperoa's goalie prevented a goal. Donato Macedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Válter Meira having to make a save. Ediberto Paulista hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Arthur Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válter Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th minute of the match Torneiros EC got a corner. Taperoa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dé Dante ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Arthur Duarte heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Amauri de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Diogo Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taperoa. Diogo Silveira made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Henrique Quirino sent off a good shot on target. After 59 played minutes Torneiros EC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro de Castro. When Arthur Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Torneiros EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Duarte couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Taperoa getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Francisco Xavier hit a great ball. Torneiros EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dé Dante in the 68th minute. Arthur Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Donato Macedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Válter Meira was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Arthur Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Válter Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torneiros EC's goalkeeper Diogo Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Válter Meira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arthur Duarte went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Donato Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taperoa's Válter Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Loyola in the 95th minute of play. Amauri de Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diogo Silveira having to make a save. Torneiros EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
