Ezequiel Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Eurico Vianna's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Pedro Luiz Cavalcante on his right side and into the goal. 25 minutes into the game it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos de Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Cunha was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Guga Damião hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Giuseppe Pirani didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 32nd minute. Susto AD's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Astorga AD's Ezequiel Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Astorga AD from getting a goal against them. Carlinhos de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ezequiel Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Nascimento during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Astorga AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Maicon Arósio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Astorga AD's Ezequiel Cunha didn't even have to move.

Pedro Luiz Cavalcante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeu Campidelis went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 60 played minutes, Susto AD's Kiko Rosado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ezequiel Cunha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Susto AD reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Amadeu Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astorga AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Astorga AD's Hílton Gomes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luiz Cavalcante. That made the score 1-4 after 64 minutes of play. Carlinhos de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Cunha having to interfere. Carlinhos de Godoi took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Cunha. Ezequiel Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 73rd minute, Carlinhos de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Giuseppe Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Astorga AD getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Belmiro Dionísio hit a great ball. Carlinhos de Godoi got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ezequiel Cunha handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the match Maicon Arósio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Cunha skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th minute Frank Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos de Godoi in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Susto AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Secco to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Susto AD got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Amorim. The Susto AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Astorga AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Astorga AD.
