Spectators: 6462 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedito Vidal started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisão Félix in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cléberson Teixeira saved Nespol from getting behind. In the 5th minute, Nespol's Adhemar Dionísio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael de Almeida in the 10th minute of play forced Nespol's goalkeeper Cléberson Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nespol getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adhemar Dionísio hit a great ball. If Júlio Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Luisão Félix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cléberson Teixeira. Nespol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Félix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 20th minute Luisão Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manhumirim FC's Belmiro Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Nespol booed when Manhumirim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Manhumirim FC got a freekick which was hit by Natanael de Almeida. After a rather tough play, Nespol's Dalmo Esteves got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Nespol defense, Belmiro Prata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléberson Teixeira. The Nespol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléberson Teixeira should have stopped the shot. Natanael de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cléberson Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natanael de Almeida made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Gláuber Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nespol's goalkeeper Cléberson Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Nespol booed when Manhumirim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdir Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Gláuber Recife might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cléberson Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gláuber Recife ran back to his position shaking his head. Luisão Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natanael de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cléberson Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael de Almeida took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cléberson Teixeira. Cléberson Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 81st minute, Luisão Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Natanael de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Nespol's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael de Almeida came free, but Cléberson Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Manhumirim FC's Natanael de Almeida in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nespol's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute, Nespol's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luisão Félix fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Recife couldn't finish the play. If Gláuber Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléberson Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
