S C Gramado's Alfonso Di Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Amorim in the 2nd minute of play. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante was a little too slow when Dudu da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 11th minute, Luukas Lefevre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrique Amorim hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dudu da Costa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Luiz Cavalcante firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dudu da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Pedro Luiz Cavalcante made a huge save. Kiko Rosado hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Luukas Lefevre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luukas Lefevre's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute Luukas Lefevre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luukas Lefevre, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Mauro de Queirós was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. Maicon Arósio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Alfonso Di Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos de Godoi in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Luukas Lefevre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S C Gramado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luukas Lefevre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zinedine Adler in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Luiz Cavalcante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luukas Lefevre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luukas Lefevre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Cavalcante having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlinhos de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, S C Gramado's goalkeeper Alfonso Di Monte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Pirani. Luukas Lefevre struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S C Gramado. Luukas Lefevre took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luiz Cavalcante. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 68 minutes into the game, S C Gramado's Luukas Lefevre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luiz Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Luukas Lefevre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Amorim in the 77th minute of play forced S C Gramado's goalkeeper Alfonso Di Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Di Monte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Secco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 87 minute of play. A collision led to Susto AD getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Henrique Amorim hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Susto AD defense, Luukas Lefevre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luiz Cavalcante. The Susto AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luiz Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Susto AD's Carlinhos de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Di Monte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. S C Gramado had played much better football throughout.
