Deivid Pimenta ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Pilares booed when Astorga AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amadeu Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hílton Gomes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deivid Pimenta in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 played minutes Astorga AD got a freekick which was hit by Guga Damião. Pilares's Dagoberto Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The nice shot from Amadeu Campidelis in the 59thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Percival Capixaba had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After taking down the ball on Astorga AD's corner Eurico Vianna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Percival Capixaba quite easily take care of the ball.
