In the 4th minute Natanael de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Manhumirim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Freitas came free, but Valdir Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Belmiro Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manhumirim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The tension between the Vskg Capital Club and the Manhumirim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tião Prata's late challenge caught a Manhumirim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manhumirim FC's Nilson Dias got a free kick in the 91st minute. Manhumirim FC played a much better game than Vskg Capital Club and deserved their victory. The Vskg Capital Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
