A collision led to Insano Grama e Futsal getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ernani Barbosa hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Ricardo Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Insano Grama e Futsal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nespol the free kick. After 44 played minutes Insano Grama e Futsal got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Vinhas. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedito Vidal to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Benedito Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 minutes of play, Insano Grama e Futsal's Elder Quintal made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cléberson Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Corrêa in the 68th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Dalmo Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nespol and the Insano Grama e Futsal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalmo Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Benedito Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sidney Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Vidal during the 77th minute. In the 89th minute David Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Nespol's goalkeeper Cléberson Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elder Quintal. When Bruno de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nespol's protests and gave Bruno de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Nespol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno de Lima to maneuver through the defense.
