After 4 played minutes Luukas Lefevre rounded Nespol's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Adhemar Dionísio's late challenge caught a S C Gramado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Dionísio helped the player get up and apologised. Cléberson Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudu da Costa in the 10th minute. S C Gramado's Adrián Alonso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cléberson Teixeira but with some difficulty. Luís Fábio de Andrade took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Di Monte. Alfonso Di Monte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Luukas Lefevre struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Cléberson Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S C Gramado. Cléberson Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luukas Lefevre in the 21st minute of play. Dudu da Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Cléberson Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 28 minutes, Dudu da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S C Gramado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nespol's Cléberson Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luukas Lefevre in the 31st minute of play. After 36 played minutes Nespol got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Dionísio. In the 38th minute, Luukas Lefevre made a precise shot to the right of Cléberson Teixeira. Nespol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 47th minute of the match Mauro de Queirós sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cléberson Teixeira skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51stth minute of the game Luukas Lefevre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nespol's Cléberson Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cléberson Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84thth minute of the game Luukas Lefevre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nespol's Cléberson Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Nespol's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu da Costa came free, but Cléberson Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When S C Gramado's Luukas Lefevre in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nespol's goalie prevented a goal. If Luukas Lefevre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the S C Gramado players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
