Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Atlético Piauiense's goalkeeper Angelo Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Pirani. Waldemar Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 5 played minutes Susto AD got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Araújo. When Waldemar Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Atlético Piauiense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Piauiense's zone, Giuseppe Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Pereira came out of the goal and Giuseppe Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos de Godoi in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Carlinhos de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giuseppe Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Angelo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos de Godoi in the 25th minute of the match. José Carlos Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlinhos de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Pereira having to interfere. Giuseppe Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Pereira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Giuseppe Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Frank Secco fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Susto AD's protests and gave Frank Secco a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Susto AD got a freekick which was hit by Frank Secco. Waldemar Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Giuseppe Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Carlinhos de Godoi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Angelo Pereira to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlinhos de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Wiliam de Almeida sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Pereira skillfully saved the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Atlético Piauiense's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos de Godoi came free, but Angelo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Susto AD's Carlinhos de Godoi in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Piauiense's goalie prevented a goal. When Oséias Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Piauiense's protests and gave Oséias Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. Oséias Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Maicon Arósio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlético Piauiense's Angelo Pereira didn't even have to move. Angelo Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Pirani in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe Pirani in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giuseppe Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Angelo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Carlinhos de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Susto AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Henrique Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Pereira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos de Godoi in the 87th minute of play forced Atlético Piauiense's goalkeeper Angelo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Giuseppe Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Susto AD's Carlinhos de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Pirani in the 91st minute of play. Oséias Guimarães was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Oséias Guimarães hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute of the match Maicon Arósio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Pereira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
