Davi Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cássio Mendes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Osvaldo Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro de Toledo in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeferson de Amorim during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Morada booed when Casa Worship was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Joélson Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Leme. Casa Worship's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joélson Arruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Cléberson de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davi Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Carlinhos Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morada's protests and gave Carlinhos Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. Carlinhos Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Arruda in the 36th minute of play forced Casa Worship's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Guerra during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Casa Worship was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Mendes couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Almir Gomes fired a really elegant long shot, but Osvaldo Leme threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When Joélson Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Morada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joélson Arruda couldn't finish the play. Davi Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Mendes in the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Joélson Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joélson Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cléberson de Azevedo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davi Montenegro. Davi Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Morada's Joélson Arruda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osvaldo Leme. That made the score 2-2 after 74 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Jeferson de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Tony Alvarenga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Joélson Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morada's supporters rose to their feet, but Joélson Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davi Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Morada getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Délio Lara hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Jeferson de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
