Casa Worship's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fernandinho Ceresso 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Alexsandro do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Águia Dourada F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Casa Worship:s goal. Cléberson de Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Tinoco having to make a save. Águia Dourada F.C.'s José Maria Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson de Azevedo in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Casa Worship defense, Sandrinho Sá kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Leme. The Casa Worship fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Leme should have stopped the shot. Luís Eduardo Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Leme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Casa Worship's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Sá came free, but Osvaldo Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Guerra in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Matías Cearense made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Águia Dourada F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benê Santana. José Maria Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Marquinhos Guerra sent off a good shot on target. When Águia Dourada F.C.'s Sandrinho Sá in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casa Worship's goalie prevented a goal. Osvaldo Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Sá in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Águia Dourada F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Benê Santana hit a great ball. After 69 minutes, Cássio Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casa Worship and the Águia Dourada F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cássio Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Osvaldo Leme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Eduardo Maciel went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The Águia Dourada F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Águia Dourada F.C.'s Sandrinho Sá looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. José Maria Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marquinhos Guerra in the 76th minute. Águia Dourada F.C.'s José Maria Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Mendes in the 83rd minute of play. Osvaldo Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Sá in the 84th minute of play. Águia Dourada F.C.'s Tomás Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Águia Dourada F.C.'s Paulão Cardozo was substituted for Tomás Cearense. 93 minutes into the match, Casa Worship's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Sá came free, but Osvaldo Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Casa Worship players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Águia Dourada F.C..
