Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Matías Cearense kicked off to start the match. When Percy Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S R G's protests and gave Percy Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Casa Worship booed when S R G was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arí Trevisan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Leme made a huge save. In the 14th minute Arí Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amílton Barreto in the 15th minute. A collision led to Casa Worship getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cássio Mendes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arí Trevisan in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Percy Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Osvaldo Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Matías Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Augusto Cerezo. S R G's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 28th minute Cássio Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Percy Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S R G's Zé Augusto Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson de Azevedo in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Cearense in the 36th minute of play forced S R G's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the S R G defense, Marquinhos Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Augusto Cerezo. The S R G fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Augusto Cerezo should have stopped the shot. Zé Augusto Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of S R G booed when Casa Worship was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílton Barretos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Osvaldo Leme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Percy Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matías Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arí Trevisan to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Amílton Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedê Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of S R G booed when Casa Worship was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Percy Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Augusto Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Cearense in the 61st minute of the match. Zé Augusto Cerezo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Casa Worship's Cléberson de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Cléberson de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to S R G getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Percy Guerra hit a great ball. Zé Augusto Cerezo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Casa Worship's Cássio Mendes. But to his dismay, Cássio Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Barreto in the 74th minute of play forced Casa Worship's goalkeeper Osvaldo Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Cearense in the 83rd minute of play forced S R G's goalkeeper Zé Augusto Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casa Worship's Matías Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, Casa Worship was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. The Casa Worship supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Casa Worship would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
