Botashow's José Maria Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Botashow's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Cearense came free, but Geraldo Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Casa Worship's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Rocha came free, but Osvaldo Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Botashow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Paulo Renato Moreira in the 43rd minute of play was well struck, but Geraldo Secco made a really good save at the right post. In the 44th minute of the match, Matías Cearense tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geraldo Secco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 45th minute, Cléberson de Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geraldo Secco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fábio Nascimento to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Matías Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geraldo Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson de Azevedo in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Vicente Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elano Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Leme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Osvaldo Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fábio Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cléberson de Azevedo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Fábio Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvaldo Leme came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Fábio Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 67th minute. Geraldo Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Matías Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Casa Worship fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Cearense couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Matías Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Botashow's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson de Azevedo came free, but Geraldo Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Botashow's Elano Valle got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Matías Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casa Worship's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matías Cearense took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geraldo Secco. Geraldo Secco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Casa Worship's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
