Duarte Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Quadros in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Vito Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored BZ FC's protests and gave Norberto Viana a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes BZ FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Viana. Mateus Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Viana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 95 minutes into the match, BZ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Perez came free, but Duarte Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfredinho Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The BZ FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bigodes FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
