Spectators: 6980 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jefferson Paraibano kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, BZ FC's Germano Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilson da Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Duarte Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Furtado in the 7th minute of play. José Vítor Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Tinoco having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Jefferson Paraibano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Duarte Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jefferson Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Paraibano couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Jefferson Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB booed when BZ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano Matos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB's zone, Alfredinho Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilson da Rocha came out of the goal and Alfredinho Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitório Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredinho Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilson da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of BZ FC booed when BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, BZ FC's Fabinho Dias broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gilberto de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson da Rocha having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Galvão to maneuver through the defense. If Gilberto de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB's Gilson da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Ramalho in the 76th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Alfredinho Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gilberto de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When José Carlos Martins fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB's protests and gave José Carlos Martins a yellow card for diving instead. Jefferson Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Tinoco having to interfere. If Vitório Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97thth minute of the game Jefferson Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BZ FC's Duarte Tinoco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BZ FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB for a fine match.
