Tomé de Queirós was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pirracao EC booed when The ShadyS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Cabral in the 4th minute of the match. Filipe Santos was a little too slow when Dedé Cearense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Haroldo Lucas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Magno Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Pirracao EC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Diniz came free, but Magno Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Magno Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ShadyS's Haroldo Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match Daniel França sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magno Mello skillfully saved the ball. Daniel França took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Magno Mello. Pirracao EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Jailson da Silveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filipe Santos. Jailson da Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Magno Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Diniz in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Juan Diniz made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, The ShadyS's Haroldo Lucas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Magno Mello. Magno Mello yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The ShadyS's Filipe Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson da Silveira in the 63rd minute of play. Luan Castro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes The ShadyS got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Addario. Magno Mello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldo Lucas in the 73rd minute. Haroldo Lucas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Magno Mello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as The ShadyS's Haroldo Lucas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Magno Mello. That made the score 2-3 after 77 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the match, Pirracao EC's Fabrício Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haroldo Lucas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magno Mello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Jailson da Silveira scored 3-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filipe Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filipe Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
