HellTeam's Doriva da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vinícius Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Doriva da Costa put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Vinícius Porto. Doriva da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Porto having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HellTeam eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
