After 8 minutes, Baltazar Motta made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Araçá F.C's Luiz Guilherme Paulista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Guilherme Paulista came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Império Branco F.C's Baltazar Motta. But to his dismay, Baltazar Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fábio Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Motta in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Baltazar Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Fábio Sousa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rogério Palmeira hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Baltazar Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Baltazar Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Guilherme Paulista was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Motta in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Guilherme Paulista saved Araçá F.C from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Império Branco F.C's Baltazar Motta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Guilherme Paulista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Império Branco F.C booed when Araçá F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Império Branco F.C's Rogério Palmeira got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Edson Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Império Branco F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edson Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltazar Motta might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Guilherme Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltazar Motta ran back to his position shaking his head. Baltazar Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Luiz Guilherme Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Baltazar Motta made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Araçá F.C's Luiz Guilherme Paulista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Monteiro in the 84th minute of play forced Araçá F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Baltazar Motta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Guilherme Paulista was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
