Baltazar Motta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 8th minute, Baltazar Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arlindo Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Edson Monteiro took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Arlindo Nascimento to make any attempt to save it. Baltazar Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Edson Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arlindo Nascimento. PODEROSO LEAO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edson Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Dalmo Brodel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Baltazar Motta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Arlindo Nascimento 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Motta in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Nascimento saved PODEROSO LEAO from getting behind. Baltazar Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Motta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arlindo Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th minute, Baltazar Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arlindo Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Baltazar Motta might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlindo Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltazar Motta ran back to his position shaking his head. Tales Passos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Arlindo Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltazar Motta went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Baltazar Motta notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of PODEROSO LEAO's Arlindo Nascimento. Arlindo Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arlindo Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar Motta's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute, Emílio de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of PODEROSO LEAO booed when Império Branco F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Horácio Velloso sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Enrique Andrade threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Horácio Velloso this time. In the 74th minute, Baltazar Motta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Império Branco F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Baltazar Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arlindo Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Edson Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edson Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Motta in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlindo Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 87 minutes, Emílio de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Império Branco F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes of play, Império Branco F.C's Baltazar Motta made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Silvinho Batista came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Império Branco F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvinho Batista couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Império Branco F.C had played much better football throughout.
