Rômulo Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Nascimento having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, PODEROSO LEAO's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Sousa came free, but Arlindo Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Paulinho Paes came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Longarai F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Paes couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulinho Paes in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Nascimento saved PODEROSO LEAO from getting behind. Rômulo Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Arlindo Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Longarai F.C.'s João Pedro Machado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arlindo Nascimento but with some difficulty. Longarai F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
