Bruno de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolek Bojanowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Matorin went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bruno de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Bruno de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Zé Pedro Amorim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Amorim in the 40th minute of play forced Sokafumo F C's goalkeeper Bruno de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno de Senna. Zé Pedro Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César Mello made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sokafumo F C's goalkeeper Bruno de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lino Guimarães's late challenge caught a Therezopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Therezopolis booed when Sokafumo F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Donato Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Bruno de Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute Zé Pedro Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Vitinho de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sokafumo F C's zone, Zé Pedro Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno de Senna came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno de Senna came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Therezopolis's Zé Pedro Amorim. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitinho de Godoi in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno de Senna saved Sokafumo F C from getting behind. If Vitinho de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno de Senna having to interfere. Vitinho de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Bruno de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Pedro Amorim in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno de Senna saved Sokafumo F C from getting behind. Zé Pedro Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 minutes, Zé Pedro Amorim made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sokafumo F C's Bruno de Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Therezopolis fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sokafumo F C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
