Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulinho Paes took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th match minute, Longarai F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After 9 minutes, Erivaldo Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aparecidense AA and the Longarai F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aparecidense AA's Erivaldo Miranda got a free kick in the 9th minute. Orlando Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rômulo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Hugo Paes from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Gernando Falcão's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 22 minutes into the match, Aparecidense AA's goalkeeper Gernando Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rômulo Sousa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Sousa got free with Gernando Falcão in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gernando Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Duda Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Aparecidense AA got a freekick which was hit by Duda Barral. João Pedro Machado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aparecidense AA! In the 33rd minute, Longarai F.C. got a penalty, and João Pedro Machado placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Paulinho Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Aparecidense AA fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Aparecidense AA's Marcus Netto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rômulo Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gernando Falcão could save by the left post. Gernando Falcão had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Paulinho Paes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 45th minute of the match Longarai F.C. got a corner. Aparecidense AA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Pedro Machado ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Netto was the one to do the kick off. Gernando Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Paulinho Paes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aparecidense AA's Gernando Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Aparecidense AA's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Paes came free, but Gernando Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Marcus Netto lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Orlando Souza. Longarai F.C.'s Paulinho Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Aparecidense AA's Laerte Novaes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Marcus Netto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Orlando Souza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, Aparecidense AA's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Sousa came free, but Gernando Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Netto's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Rômulo Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aparecidense AA's Gernando Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus Netto took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Souza. Orlando Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Hugo Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Longarai F.C.'s Cláudio Porto got a free kick in the 90th minute. Josué Favoretto charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josué Favoretto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Longarai F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Netto in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Aparecidense AA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aparecidense AA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
