In the 5th minute, Mariano Admon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Araçá F.C's Luiz Guilherme Paulista didn't even have to move. In the 6th minute, João Augusto Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Admon in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes, Mariano Admon made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Araçá F.C's Luiz Guilherme Paulista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Araçá F.C's zone, Mariano Admon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Guilherme Paulista came out of the goal and Mariano Admon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Manoel Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Guilherme Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Admon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukáš Modrić in the 24th minute of play forced Araçá F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukáš Modrić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Luiz Guilherme Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 34th minute when Lukáš Modrić elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luiz Guilherme Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Modrić in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, RIBEIRÃO FC's Mariano Admon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Guilherme Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Lukáš Modrić came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the RIBEIRÃO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukáš Modrić couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Araçá F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Admon came free, but Luiz Guilherme Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Claudinho Sarmento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Guilherme Paulista having to make a save. In the 54th play minute Mariano Admon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Guilherme Paulista. 0-5. In the 60th minute, Mariano Admon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIBEIRÃO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Luiz Guilherme Paulista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Admon in the 67th minute. Mariano Admon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Paulista having to interfere. Angelo Veiga hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidney Ribeiro during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes RIBEIRÃO FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Ribeiro. A collision led to Araçá F.C getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tadeu Bueno hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Daniel Kvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIBEIRÃO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Kvarnström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Guilherme Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinho Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Luiz Guilherme Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RIBEIRÃO FC played a much better game than Araçá F.C and deserved their victory. The Araçá F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
