In the 11thth minute of the game Giuseppe de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Império Branco F.C's Claudinei Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Afonsinho de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Concepción FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonsinho de Castro couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogério Palmeira during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Concepción FC booed when Império Branco F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Claudinei Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Pedro Paulo Torres was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Baltazar Motta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baltazar Motta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. In the 94th minute, Baltazar Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Paulo Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Império Branco F.C played a much better game than Concepción FC and deserved their victory. The Concepción FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
