After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rogério Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Império Branco F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ian Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno de Senna having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Ian Souza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sokafumo F C's Bruno de Senna. Bruno de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ian Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bruno de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Souza's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sokafumo F C's zone, Emílio de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno de Senna came out of the goal and Emílio de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cássio Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, José Paulo Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Ian Souza notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sokafumo F C's Bruno de Senna. Bruno de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emílio de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Ian Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Bruno de Senna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Cássio Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Edson Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Bruno de Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Império Branco F.C. When Ian Souza came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Império Branco F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Souza couldn't finish the play. Ian Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno de Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sokafumo F C's goalkeeper Bruno de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Império Branco F.C were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Sokafumo F C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ian Souza took the corner. Leandro Cunha tried in the game's 68th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Bruno de Senna. An annoying self made goal, 0-6. In the 71st minute, Emílio de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ian Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno de Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Emílio de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Império Branco F.C's Edson Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Souza in the 86th minute of the match. Ian Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but Ian Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 88th minute. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Rogério Palmeira took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Bruno de Senna to make any attempt to save it. Lino Guimarães's late challenge caught a Império Branco F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Sokafumo F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Império Branco F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sokafumo F C throughout the match.
