Gladiador Verde d uberaba's Mauro Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Romero in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Sebastião Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiador Verde d uberaba and the NIP F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of NIP F.C booed when Gladiador Verde d uberaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Gladiador Verde d uberaba's Mauro Senna got control of the ball when Duda Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcel Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carlos Fernando Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NIP F.C's Romário Maranhense came free and shot a quick shot against goal 23 minutes in the game, fortunately Mauro Senna had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Duda Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Mauro Senna made a huge save. When Aírton Vides came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the NIP F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Vides couldn't finish the play. Duda Romeros short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Mauro Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Romero in the 80th minute of play forced Gladiador Verde d uberaba's goalkeeper Mauro Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aírton Vides scored 6-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 91 minutes, Percy Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NIP F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percy Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Romero in the 93rd minute of play forced Gladiador Verde d uberaba's goalkeeper Mauro Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Romero in the 94th minute of the match. The NIP F.C fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when NIP F.C's Duda Romero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. NIP F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
