After a defensive mix-up in RAFA JUNIORS's zone, Benê Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy de Sena came out of the goal and Benê Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Clóvis Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruy de Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gabriel Tinoco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy de Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Rodrigo Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAFA JUNIORS and the Burro da Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, RAFA JUNIORS's Rodrigo Koehler got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Gabriel Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burro da Central fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ivo Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If João Vítor Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, RAFA JUNIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Antunes came free, but Ruy de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Ivo Xavier made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute RAFA JUNIORS were awarded a corner. Dudu Monteiro went to the cornerflag to take it. RAFA JUNIORS's Dudu Monteiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robinho Penha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ruy de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benê Antunes in the 56th minute. Virgílio Nascimento walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ruy de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Benê Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Ruy de Sena. In the 86th minute Matheus Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivo Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Robinho Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robinho Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Robinho Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Terra in the 93rd minute of play. Benê Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ruy de Sena made a huge save. In the 96th minute Ivo Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Antunes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 98th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Burro da Central eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
