An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan de Lima in the 8th minute of play forced Gladiador Verde d uberaba's goalkeeper Mauro Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Yan de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aybars Pekdemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé da Cunha in the 17th minute of the match. Mauro Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Gladiador Verde d uberaba's goal looked a bit too open when Yan de Lima came free, but Mauro Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Curutari FC made a substitution. Gernando Capixaba replaced Yan de Lima. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dé da Cunha made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Gernando Capixaba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiador Verde d uberaba's Mauro Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Mauro Senna managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Curutari FC's Gernando Capixaba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gernando Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui da Silveira got free with Mauro Senna in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dé da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aybars Pekdemir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dé da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. If Benjamim de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Gernando Capixaba made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gladiador Verde d uberaba's Mauro Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Curutari FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
