Nildo das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to NIP F.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nildo das Neves hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Virgílio Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Duda Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Duda Romero made the kick off in the second half. Aírton Vides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Percy Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NIP F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percy Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Benê Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NIP F.C's Carlos Fernando Furlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Burro da Central's zone, Romário Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho Penha came out of the goal and Romário Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Duda Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burro da Central's Robinho Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romário Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Robinho Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duda Romero struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Robinho Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NIP F.C. 86 minutes into the game, Clóvis Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
