An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Sá in the 8th minute of play forced Bocapaulista's goalkeeper Cacá Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bocapaulista's zone, Diamantino Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Andrade came out of the goal and Diamantino Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 10 played minutes Bocapaulista got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Diniz. Diamantino Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cacá Andrade having to make a save. If Cássio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Sá in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cacá Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cássio Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cacá Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Tranqueira FC's Cássio Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cacá Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, Diamantino Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranqueira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Pedro Augusto Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bocapaulista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tranqueira FC the free kick. A collision led to Bocapaulista getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Furtado hit a great ball. Cacá Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Sá in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Tranqueira FC's Cássio Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cacá Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cacá Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cássio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Diamantino Sá came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tranqueira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Sá couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Cássio Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bocapaulista's Pedro Augusto Furtado got a free kick in the 37th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Geovânio Castro scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juvenal de Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Geovânio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Geovânio Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bocapaulista fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute, Tranqueira FC got a penalty, and Maicon Botelho placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Pedro Augusto Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás de Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juvenal de Amaral having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Tranqueira FC's Emílio Gaspar got a free kick in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Rezende during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmundo Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Diamantino Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pedro Augusto Furtado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Pedro Augusto Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Cássio Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bocapaulista's Cacá Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geovânio Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
