Pedro Luiz Donato came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Brejo Alegre Futebol Club's Marcinho Marques. But to his dismay, Marcinho Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcinho Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luiz Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcinho Marques went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Brejo Alegre Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Tasso came free, but Caco Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Brejo Alegre Futebol Club defense, Mané Tasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caco Lopez. Samuca Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caco Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Caco Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Tasso in the 81st minute of the match. Moisés de Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Moisés de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pedro Luiz Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute of the match Dudu Campidelis shot from a long distance.
