The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Luiz Pena was the one to do the kick off. The Orindiuva SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Félix should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orindiuva SC's goalkeeper Sérgio Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orindiuva SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tupandi the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Orindiuva SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Secco to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Andrézinho Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Félix was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. But to his dismay, Andrézinho Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 88 minutes into the match, Tupandi's Sandro Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Félix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrézinho Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Andrézinho Cearense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 97 minutes into the match, Orindiuva SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Pinheiro came free, but Sérgio Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tupandi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Orindiuva SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
