Spectators: 7049 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudinei Dracena made the kick off which started today's match. Coadi's Ivo Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Acácio de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Ivo Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Giovani Bittencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC SCAFF UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coadi the free kick. Giovani Bittencourt hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ivo Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coadi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Acácio de Souza's late challenge caught a Coadi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC SCAFF UNITED's Acácio de Souza got a free kick in the 20th minute. Coadi's Luiz Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar da Costa in the 26th minute of play forced SC SCAFF UNITED's goalkeeper Norberto de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC SCAFF UNITED's Norberto de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar da Costa in the 27th minute of play. If Edgar da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC SCAFF UNITED's Raí Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Dracena in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Madej prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinei Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Wawrzyniec Madej tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC SCAFF UNITED's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bebeto Vasconcelos was slow to take the kick. During this time Coadi's players had a chance to rest. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Coadi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bebeto Vasconcelos in the 55th minute. A collision led to Coadi getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luiz Miranda hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, SC SCAFF UNITED's Olívio Velasco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Madej came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC SCAFF UNITED reached it. Norberto de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo Fantini struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Norberto de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coadi. Edgar da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto de Amaral having to interfere. Raí Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Coadi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Miranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Edgar da Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norberto de Amaral. The goal made the score 0-2. Edgar da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Coadi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
