In the 4th minute, Gilson Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Luz got free with Roberto Perez in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentina SC's Fernando Henrique played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo da Silveira in the 9th minute of play. Samuca Pirani struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Roberto Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valentina SC. Horácio Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Roberto Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilson Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Henrique having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Samuca Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentina SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Samuca Pirani lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Roberto Perez.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reginaldo da Silveira to make the kick off. If Reginaldo da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Valentina SC's Samuca Pirani in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sonifarma F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Horácio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. After recieving a nice pass, Valentina SC's Horácio Secco tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Erasmo Souza fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sonifarma F.C's protests and gave Erasmo Souza a yellow card for diving instead. Reginaldo da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Samuca Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Perez having to interfere. Horácio Luz might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Perez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horácio Luz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Horácio Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes, Horácio Luz made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sonifarma F.C's Roberto Perez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th match minute, Sonifarma F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Horácio Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Perez having to interfere. Valentina SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
