Pedro Luís Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Erasmo Souza fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sonifarma F.C's protests and gave Erasmo Souza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sonifarma F.C's Erasmo Souza got a free kick in the 15th minute. Pedro Luís Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Roberto Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Perez stood somewhat misplaced when Pedro Luís Machado came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. With a little luck, Sonifarma F.C's Roberto Perez got control of the ball when Severino Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pedro Luís Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Aparecido in the 34th minute of play forced Verdadeiros's goalkeeper Sebastião Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Severino Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sonifarma F.C's Roberto Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severino Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Perez made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Severino Breckenfeld sent off a good shot on target. Sebastião Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilson Aparecido went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reginaldo da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roberto Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Severino Breckenfeld made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Perez. Sonifarma F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Severino Breckenfeld's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Severino Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Verdadeiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sonifarma F.C the free kick. Rafa de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Severino Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdadeiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dedé Goiano charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dedé Goiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Dedé Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luís Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Perez having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Verdadeiros players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
