Wawrzyniec Madej tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verdadeiros's Sebastião Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Fantini in the 22nd minute of play. Severino Breckenfelds short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Wawrzyniec Madej to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar da Costa during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgar da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Ismael Dante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verdadeiros and the Coadi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastião Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Edgar da Costa made the kick off in the second half. 66 minutes into the game, Edmílson de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdadeiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coadi the free kick. Edmílson de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Edmílson de Almeida scored 2-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wawrzyniec Madej, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ivo Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Severino Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmílson de Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wawrzyniec Madej having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Coadi's zone, Severino Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Madej came out of the goal and Severino Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
