The supporters of Rubros booed when Camacandi SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Denílson de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Durvalino Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís de Barros in the 62nd minute of the match.
