In the 7th minute Gualter Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Maia in the 9th minute of play forced Sete Pecados Capitais's goalkeeper Ediberto Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Paraibano having to interfere. If Gualter Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute Yuri Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ediberto Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Negri in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Wilian Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Sete Pecados Capitais's Humberto Secco in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Maia in the 43rd minute of play forced Sete Pecados Capitais's goalkeeper Ediberto Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sete Pecados Capitais's zone, Sandrinho Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ediberto Paraibano came out of the goal and Sandrinho Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ediberto Paraibano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualter Negri's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Abel Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ediberto Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Gualter Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Sete Pecados Capitais's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Velloso came free, but Ediberto Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Medonho F.C's Gualter Negri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ediberto Paraibano. That made the score 0-1 after 67 minutes of play. In the 71st minute, Sandrinho Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sete Pecados Capitais's Ediberto Paraibano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Sete Pecados Capitais from getting a goal against them. Medonho F.C's Nilson Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Sandrinho Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabiano Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Medonho F.C's Sandrinho Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sete Pecados Capitais reached it. 99 minutes into the match, Medonho F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Trevisan came free, but Fabiano Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Medonho F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
