César de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terrão FC's Edson Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edson Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César de Senna having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Rômulo Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pedrão Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Maurinho Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
