Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Conrado do Vale got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Alemquer EC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Frank Berger hit a great ball. When Amadeu Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Amarantina SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Paulista couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Alemquer EC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Branco came free, but Genílson Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldão Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleiton Proença read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Erik Branco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Abel Soeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Conrado do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cleiton Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleiton Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado do Vale in the 22nd minute of the match. Wiliam Melo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiliam Melo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Amarantina SS's Wiliam Melo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado do Vale in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleiton Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiliam Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Conrado do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Alemquer EC fans jumped to their feet. If Erik Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cleiton Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amarantina SS's Cleiton Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado do Vale in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Erik Branco made the kick off in the second half. Erik Branco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genílson Matorin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Genílson Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Alemquer EC's Rodolfo de Amorim got a free kick in the 65th minute. Conrado do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cleiton Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Carlos Bertassi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Abel Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genílson Matorin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Soeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Alemquer EC's Ronaldão Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cleiton Proença narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Abel Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amarantina SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genílson Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldão Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Alemquer EC's Ronaldão Matos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cleiton Proença. Cleiton Proença yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Amarantina SS's Amauri Alvarenga got a free kick in the 96th minute.
