In the 76th minute, Ramón Oliveira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jogadorista FC's Leandro Rossi didn't even have to move. Leandro Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Prado in the 80th minute of the match. When Enrique Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jogadorista FC's protests and gave Enrique Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. Despite being the better team, Vila Mônaco Futebol Clube failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
