Adrianinho Matorin was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Anselmo Paulista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Paulista really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Josué Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Filadelfia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Itapinima AD's zone, Cláudio Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Favoretto came out of the goal and Cláudio Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cláudio Tasso to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Itapinima AD's Basílio Galvão made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrianinho Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basílio Galvão struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Adrianinho Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapinima AD. André Luiz Favoretto came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Filadelfia SC's Josué Baiano. But to his dismay, Josué Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 67 minutes into the game, Filadelfia SC's Josué Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luiz Favoretto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Rodrigo Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrianinho Matorin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Edmundo Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Filadelfia SC's Josué Baiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Luiz Favoretto. That made the score 3-3 after 77 minutes of play. In the 81st minute Basílio Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Paulista might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrianinho Matorin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Paulista ran back to his position shaking his head. Cláudio Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josué Baiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Luiz Favoretto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josué Baiano ran back to his position shaking his head. Josué Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but André Luiz Favoretto made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
