The wind increased when Anselmo Paulista made the kick off in the second half. Vila Mônaco Futebol Clube's César de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Paulista in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Vila Mônaco Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Trancoso. Itapinima AD's Anselmo Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Anselmo Paulista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of César de Senna, 0-3. Basílio Galvão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 66th playminute. If Basílio Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anselmo Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César de Senna having to interfere. Anselmo Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. César de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Galvão scored 0-6 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Itapinima AD played a much better game than Vila Mônaco Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Vila Mônaco Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
