With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Branco in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Rossi saved Jogadorista FC from getting behind. After 21 played minutes Jogadorista FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Lima. Erik Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Leandro Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Laerte Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Jogadorista FC's goalkeeper Leandro Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Soeiro. Erik Branco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Amarantina SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
